Expression of Love

Love can be interpreted from different points of view and expressed in a variety of expressions. This is to convey the Department of Fine Arts The Arts High School in Surabaya Wilwatikta Expression of Love exhibition at the House of Sampoerna.

A total of 36 people ranging from students, alumni faculty to exhibit their works in the exhibition that was held from February 12 until March 14 next. The resulting work is a visual artist's heart honesty in expressing their love.

The exhibition opens with body painting demonstration from students and alumni in the parking STKW House of Sampoerna, Tuesday (9 / 2). Various expressions they pour through the brush outward appearance and color composition.

Uniquely, the six models are used where paint is a student at Dance Department STKW own.

The resulting paintings largely abstract form. There is no specific standard that lifted the body painting artists while doing a demo. They just poured what he had in mind at the time.

Although not included in the exhibitions, body painting demonstration in Surabaya was appointed as still minimal art enthusiasts for this one. Apart from enthusiasts quiet, the response to the art of body painting is also less.

"And body painting is more abundant in Bali, Yogyakarta and Bandung," said Chairman of the Department of Fine Arts STKW Surabaya, Totok Priyoleksono.

Body painting could even be applied to other arts such as dance. Especially non-classical dance.

Apart from body painting, in yesterday's opening of the exhibition there is also a demo drawing or drawing with shading techniques.
